The people who work at the Setba Foundation are firmly convinced that culture has a transformative power. We devise and develop artistic projects aimed at groups at risk of social exclusion, in collaboration with renowned professional artists such as Marcel·lí Antúnez, Marta Fàbregas, Quim Moya, Sandra Balsells and Jaime Súnico, among others.

Each of these actions is designed with the purpose of achieving a sustainable impact and contributing to the construction of a future that is more respectful of our environment through optimizing the use of resources, reducing emissions and minimizing our carbon footprint.

SETBA AWARD

In 2011, the Setba Prize for people with intellectual disabilities was born, the best-endowed artistic competition in Spain. This award aims to recognize and make visible these artists, often forgotten by the conventional artistic circuit, despite their undeniable value. Since then, 8,749 works have been presented, 39 of them receiving awards.

ART DOES NOT UNDERSTAND BARRIERS

With the aim of giving greater visibility to the works of art from the Setba Prize, it contacted ARTESTA, which received the proposal with enthusiasm and made a selection of 14 award-winning works from the last thirteen years to make them visible and market them on all its platforms.

In addition to finding the works in print format on this website, the project is made visible through the Lacrima Baccus DO Penedès wines, thanks to the collaboration of Bardinet, the company that awards the Design Award, within the framework of the Setba Award. The award-winning work becomes the graphic image of a new label.
